Whitley Jane: 2 years

We can't believe our baby girl is 2 years old! She's such a blessing in our lives. She's always on the go and honestly never slows down - this is probably why she's such a great sleeper! She takes one really great nap during the day (usually about 2 or 3 hours) and then almost 12 hours straight at night. She's always been such a great sleeper which we are very grateful for! Just before her little brother was born she got a "big girl bed" which is a twin mattress on the floor (she's a crazy sleeper - all over the place) It took her a few days to get used to it but now she's a pro! Whitley loves to show off for a crowd (if she knows them) and when there's lots of strangers she is instantly shy! We love her entertainment though, she's such a ham!! She says more than a hundred words but doesn't quite talk in full sentences yet. She's got a bunch of phrases down though & it's so fun to see more and more of her personality shine through. Whitley LOVES to be outside & it's pure torture (for both of us) when we have to go inside. She loves to swim with her floaties on & even jumps in off the side to Mommy or Daddy. She loves her doggies & they love her even though she spends a lot of time lately picking on them & chasing them around. One of the best qualities Whitley has is her immense love for everyone - she loves all of her grandparents, aunts, uncles, & cousins so much but most importantly she loves her baby brother Nixon with all her heart! She is such a great helper & is always willing to do things for her brother (get a diaper, binky, hold bottle, etc). We are so grateful for her!!
